What more could seem out of place on a promotions website, than a science fiction section?  Well we agree and a lot of times we wonder if CE really has a primary focus at all, but what is life without variety?  There are two main reasons why this section is included and we hope it makes sense once you hear them. First, we will be webcasting the weekly old-time-radio science fiction show on WCER. Second, because Shell and I are huge science fiction fans and we hope to make some folks that aren’t fans at least appreciate the genre a little more.

Sure the entire planet knows who Captain Kirk is, but who knows who Gort is from ‘The Day the Earth Stood Still’? I will post a picture of Gort and then you can say you learned something by going to the sci-fi section…you now know who Gort is! Anyway, if you like classic sci-fi and you already know who Gort is then you should enjoy the weekly webcast of the WCER Sci-Fi Radio Hour. The show will feature old-time-radio sci-fi broadcasts from the 1940s and 50s complete with classic news and commercials.
